My name is Sonya Woolley, a child and family photographer serving the greater St. Louis and Illinois area's.
Honing my craft is something well worth the hours of reading, editing, and intense critiques. Ultimately, it’s about capturing the innocense, energy and real life moments of a child.
My philosophy: very little posing and directing, and instead, waiting for those raw and authentically beautiful moments you wish to relive over and over again. Capturing real moments as they naturally unfold is one of the most exciting things for a photographer!
I bring my passion for visual story-telling to every shoot, and would be honored to help you preserve your most beloved memories.

Portrait Sessions
Sessions are $100 and include a $50 print credit with a minimum order of $100. This includes up to 5 people. All additional individuals over the age of 2 are $25 each.
Full resolution digital files are available for purchase.
Lower resolution, watermarked images for use on Facebook, Myspace, Blogs, etc...are provided free of charge.
Belly & Baby, First Year, and Growing Years portrait plans are available along with Gift Certificates.
Sessions take place at a location of your choosing.
I am available for destination sessions. Please inquire for pricing and schedule.

All deposits are due in advance of the session.
Session deposits are accepted by check or cash only.

Do you sell digial files?
Yes I do! Many people want a digital record of their session and I am happy to be able to provide that for you. Digital files can be purchased individually or as a collection that includes all the pictures from your gallery. All files purchased will be full resolution and will include a reproduction release.
What should we wear?
I like my clients to wear bright colors that reflect their personality and style. The clothes can definitely make or break the look of the photographs. More specific information will be provided on the do's and don'ts of what to wear after you book your session.
Where should we have our session?
Wherever you like. Simple answer but true. There are wonderful gardens and parks in our area for sessions. We can have them in your home or in mine. It all depends on the type of look you want in your photographs. Upon booking your session we will choose a location that ensures you get the look you envision in your photographs.
How Long will it take to get my pictures?
After we have our session it is my goal to have your sneak peek up within 48 hours and your full session gallery up withing 10 days. After that you will have 7 days to make your selections, then the photographs will arrive in approximately two weeks.
What about digital files?
As soon as you tell me what files you would like (if purchasing individually) or that you would like a digital file collection, we will arrange payment. Once that is taken care of I will e-mail you your files withing 48 hours or send you a DVD.
Do you offer print collections?
No. I choose to offer my prints at a lower price all the time. This gives you the felxibility to order exactly what you want.
What ages should we have photographs taken of our child?
I am a firm believer that any time is the right time for a session. But I usually recommend the following:
Maternity - between 29-36 weeks
1 year - newborn, three months, 6 months, 9 months and 1st year.
2-18 years old - every year around their birthday.
